The course will be held in Richmond, London, UK a short walk from the train station. The program starts at 09:00  each day and is scheduled to finish around 18:00, depending on progress and learning requirements. There are regular comfort breaks of 10 minutes between sessions and a 1-hour lunch break.

We have a great line of guest speakers. Joining us will be the pioneer of Media Safety, Andrew Kain, BAFTA winner and former BBC journalist Brigitte Scheffer. We will also have a security boss and a veteran cameraman from two world-leading news networks to share their experiences with the students and give advice from their perspective on what makes a successful #mediasafetyadvisor.

Cosain’s Marketing Manager Annie Lewis will talk about how to get on that first step on the ladder within the Media Security Industry lastly, one of our own Media Safety Advisors, who was recruited from one of our courses and is now on his 8th deployment, will be there alongside founder and Managing Director of Cosain Consultancy, Ken Perry who designed this unique course sharing his years 15 years of experience supporting the Media Industry in many theatres of warzones, conflicts, and hostile environments.

After the course is finished, we will be hosting an evening at a location close by the training venue. This will be a great opportunity to meet the Cosain team and network with other security professionals and leading members from the News Industry.
